I have to admit getting my brain to switch from analytical writing to creative writing can be a challenge. June of last year I set a goal to blog every week about outlander until season three wrapped. The purpose of that goal was to grow readership while writing about something I love. I kept trying … Continue reading The Droughtlander Cure
We've been in a funk my dear outlander fans. Snuggling up in our plaid throw blankets eating peanut butter M&Ms and relentlessly re-watching episodes of outlander likes it's our job. Ok, so you can maybe guess what I have been doing, ahem. However, I imagine you all have been participating in similar post season rituals. … Continue reading 10 Shows to get us all the way through Droughtlander
Happy New year all! In honor of it officially being my birthday month and I wanted to share a few of my current favorite things! I have a bit of a vintage/romantic/feminine style and I love things that make me feel lovely, don't you? Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book of all time. A … Continue reading Lovely Little Things

Holy blood bath. Typically I watch an episode 2 to 3 times when I am reviewing it for a blog post but this scene I only needed to watch once. Lotte Verbeek's genius ability to be creepy AF really shines in this scene and it replays VERY CLEARLY in my head ***lots of heebie geebies given***
And then it happens...the most satisfying romantic novelesque moment of running across the beach toward one another culminating in an even more romantic (is that even legal?...uh....yes...how dare you even ask!) embrace.
I had the most wonderful thanksgiving week in Seattle with my family, and I hope everyone else had an amazing holiday as well. This post comes a little later than normal because I was enjoying some sweet family time. The opening scene begins from Jamie's point of view. Claire is aboard the Porpoise, a British … Continue reading Outlander Episode 310: Heaven and Earth
I am a bit of a book worm to begin with but ever since I discovered Audiobook a couple years back I started to devour books at an alarming rate. From a young age, hearing a story told was and is perhaps my favorite thing of all time. I realized recently that I grew up … Continue reading 3 Books you Have to Listen to
